Gen Z Media Hub
GEN Z MEDIA HUB is a solidarity project funded through the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) of the European Commission. Over 12 months, a group of young people from Tulcea will produce one TikTok LIVE episode every month, addressing real issues from their daily lives: relationships, social pressure, identity, anxiety, self-image, digital behaviour, freedom vs. control, safety online, trends, and more.
The project creates the first local media hub entirely run and produced by young people, where participants learn to film, edit, moderate discussions, create responsible digital content, and manage a real media studio. Young people work in dedicated teams – moderation, technical setup, editing, social media, research – and develop essential digital, media, social, and emotional skills.
Through 12 LIVE episodes and constant multiplatform distribution (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), the project amplifies the voice of Generation Z and builds an authentic dialogue between young people, parents, teachers, and the wider community. At the end, the team will publish an impact video, a digital report, and a special recap episode.
GEN Z MEDIA HUB promotes solidarity, inclusion, and active youth participation in community life and is implemented with the support of CERTA Association, the project’s host organisation and legal representative.
